MOUNT VERNON, Iowa - Two games into the season, two spirited comebacks, but the Edgewood College women’s basketball team is still looking for their first victory. The Eagles worked back from an early deficit to tie the game with nine minutes remaining, but eventually fell to Mount Mercy College (Iowa) 69-60 in their first game at the Cornell College Classic.

ALBION, Mich. – The Edgewood College men’s basketball team could not keep pace with Albion College’s hot three-point shooting as they fell to the Britons 71-60 in their first game of the Albion College Tipoff Tournament. The Eagles shot just 28 percent from deep while their counterparts connected on a blistering 61 percent of their attempts from long range.

MADISON, Wis. - The combination of Dokey and Duellman has created headaches for Edgewood College’s men’s soccer opponents for four years. However, they probably didn’t realize that same combination used their heads so well away from the pitch. Today, Tyler Duellman and Jerrid Dokey were both named ESPN The Magazine Academic All-Americans, marking the first time in school history two teammates have earned Academic All-American honors in the same year.
