RIVER FOREST, Ill. - A quick burst to open the game seemed like a good omen for the Edgewood College men’s basketball team against Concordia University Chicago. However, the Northern Athletics Conference South Division leader regrouped and controlled most of the rest of the game in claiming an 81-67 victory at Geiseman Gymnasium.

MADISON, Wis. – With the game tied at 25, Lakeland College separated themselves from Edgewood College with a 12-0 run, spanning the end of the first half and the beginning of the second half. After that, the Muskies cruised to the 69-55 victory to move within one game of the Eagles in the Northern Athletics Conference North Division.

After a couple of tough road games last week, Edgewood College returns home to face Lakeland College on Tuesday night. The Eagles hold a two game lead over the Muskies and can move closer to clinching a first round home game in the conference tournament. The Eagles will travel to South Division leading Concordia University Chicago on Saturday.
