A crucial battle with Head Coach Casey Thousand’s alma mater opens a tough week for the Edgewood College women’s basketball team. The Eagles and Muskies are battling for a home court advantage in the first round of the NAC Tournament. Saturday, the Eagles host Rockford College in their home finale.

RIVER FOREST, Ill. – In a game that the Edgewood College women’s basketball team controlled the whole way, they could not find a way to win in the end. The Eagles lead for most of the contest, but Concordia University Chicago came back to force overtime. Edgewood College even opened the extra session with the lead, however the Cougars came back again and took the 57-54 victory.

MADISON, Wis. - Edgewood College women’s basketball athlete Shae Beckwith has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District team. With the selection, the Eagle women’s basketball team has had an All-District winner in each of the last four seasons.
